1. Dress for Success Designer Fashion Sale
Don't miss this annual fashion sale event where you can purchase designer and vintage clothing and accessories, all while supporting Auckland's Dress for Success charity. There will be clothing (sizes 6-16+) and accessories priced at $10, $20, $40 and $60, with some special items priced individually.

2. Beauty and the Beast
Disney's remake of the 1991 animated classic, starring Emma Watson as Belle, is in cinemas around the country from today. Read our interview with the film's costume designer Jacqueline Durran, and enter our competition to win a Beauty and the Beast inspired gown valued at $2000.

3. Silo Park Dog Day Afternoon
Dog owners take note: Get your pet ready for a special outing on Sunday afternoon at Silo Park, where there will be a dog agility course and a vet from VetCare Grey Lynn answering questions from 1-4pm. There will also be drinks and street food for humans to enjoy from 12-6pm.

4. Silent Cinema Under the Stars

5. Paradox: Tauranga Street Art Festival
Plan a road trip to Tauranga to see Paradox Inside, a new exhibition at the Tauranga Art Gallery featuring more than 22 works by Banksy - part of the Tauranga Street Art Festival.

6. Walk the Walk: A History of Fashion in the City
As part of the Heart of the City's 4 Days of Fashion in the City, the NZ Fashion Museum delves into local fashion history with this event. This is a dynamic experience that includes an exhibition inside Smith & Caughey's historic Lippincott Room, two free fashion shows and guided walking tours of historic fashion spots around the city.

7. Ingrid Starnes' Runway Presentation 
Fashion designer Ingrid Starnes will take over O'Connell St on Friday night, to showcase her latest winter collection – think dusty pastel hues, subtle prints and sweeping silk gowns, with items available to buy from her nearby boutique after the show.

8. The Last Friday in March
An exclusive free fashion show at Smith & Caughey's Queen St will showcase the best of the iconic department store's winter offerings and include a special appearance by famous transgender model Andreja Pejic.

9. Celebrate Spring With Coach and Moochi Beauty Sessions

10. Hyperreal: Imagining the Future of Fashion
