Hollywood A-listers are notorious for choosing wacky names for their offspring. And with their first-born crowned Blue Ivy, Beyonce and Jay Z are no exception. But following the announcement that Beyonce is pregnant with twins, will the Lemonade star and her husband go for something equally as obscure this time?
According to US pregnancy site verywell.com, the most popular baby names for twin girls are Ella and Emma, Madison and Mason for a girl and boy pairing and Jacob and Joshua for twin boys. But these choices may prove too generic for the high-profile couple.
There's also the possibility the pair will draw on family names. Within Knowles's immediate family there's a mix of more traditional names such as Tina and Matthew as well as the less common monikers Solange and Nixon. The name Lumis belongs to both her grandfather and uncle while her great-grandfather was Alexandre Beyince.
Jay Z, whose real name is Shawn Corey Carter, has Adnes and Andrea among his kin as well as Eric, Michelle, and Gloria.
But if the couple are to keep up with what's trending among Hollywood's parenting pack, we're expecting non-traditional names with a whimsical slant or reference to the natural world.
Here are some of the most recent baby names bestowed by celebrity parents:
Dream
Parents: Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna
River Rocket
Parents: Jamie and Jools Oliver
Journey River
Parents: Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green
Onyx Solace
Parents: Alanis Morrisette and Mario "Souleye" Treadway
Sydney Rain

The meaning behind Blue Ivy's name
Shortly after the arrival of her first child, Beyonce revealed the meaning behind her daughter's unusual name. Posting on her Tumblr, the star shared an extract from Rebecca SoInit's 2005 novel "A Field Guide to Getting Lost".
"
This light does not touch us, does not travel the whole distance, the light that gets lost, gives us the beauty of the world, so much of which is in the color blue.
