A Puerto Rican model who was bullied because of her large eyebrows is having the last laugh after being snapped up to pose for top fashion and beauty brands.
Natalia Castellar, 17, said she was teased as a youngster and still gets abuse from commenters online.
But the model - who has posed for NARS and Mansur Gavriel - has now embraced her bushy assets, which were made famous by supermodel Cara Delevingne, and wishes she had the made the most of them sooner.
"When I was younger they were all anyone would point out. I was bullied terribly because of how thick and long they were, so I wanted to shave them down," she told W Magazine.
She added: "Now I don't care if they stay trendy or not, I love my eyebrows. They set me aside from other models.
"They're my trademark, and I wish I would have embraced them sooner".
But the teenager still receives bullying from online trolls.
One commenter said: "I don't approve [of] the eyebrows". Another wrote: "I'm team #thickeyebrows but I don't like hers. They are too thick".
One commenter added: "They look fake you really don't need to do your brows".
However, most of her fans think her brows make her beautiful.
Commenter xoxo.day said: "God you're beautiful".
Another said: "Thank you for making me confident about my big brows".
As well as modelling, Natalia, who is currently based in Virginia, has a penchant for art, sketching, playing field hockey and lacrosse.
Speaking to Urban Outfitters' blog, she said: "Aside from my job, I think I'm a very average teenage girl. I love binge-watching movies and shows on Netflix, I'm very into clothing and styling... and Harry Styles!
"I just finalised my paperwork for my contract with NEXT Models. I'm very excited about becoming a part of their family. I can't wait to travel and work. I'm the type of person that's content when they're constantly doing something."
