"Professional organiser" Alejandra Costello posts videos on YouTube of her immaculate home, with tips on everything from sorting your drawers to colour-coding your spray bottles.

The 31-year-old was once dubbed one of the five most organised people in America, and her how-to vids receive thousands of views from those of us who are challenged in the tidiness department.

Alejandra has been compared to Marie Kondo, the self-described "crazy tidying fanatic" who has published two books on cleaning and sparked interest worldwide over her perfectly folded clothes drawers.

While the strict processes would give many of us a headache, cleaning queen Alejandra says her "organisational systems" make her life more efficient and less stressful.
