A teacher concerned her students would spend the weekend fretting over pending exams has dished out what might just be the best homework ever.
UK primary school teacher Jenny Thom issued a list of tasks to her 10- and 11-year-old students which included eating ice cream, watching your favourite TV programme and eating more ice cream.
Shared to Twitter, Thom's list of 17 activities is signed off with a message of praise.
"You are all amazing and I couldn't be more proud of you."
She also addresses her students' upcoming SATs and advises that, if they feel they need to, a maximum of one hour's worth of revision is permitted.
"Mrs Thom is in charge of worrying - you don't need to", she writes.
The letter has been shared more than 65, 000 times on Facebook with much praise for a yet-to-be-tagged Mrs Thom.
Louise Harry wrote: "I'm very fortunate - my daughter is a year 6 in Mrs Thom's class. We have spent a happy day ticking lots of those boxes. I'm passionate about Bucklebury School, a school that believes in growing the whole child."
While another Facebook user commented on how moving he found the post: "What a wonderful teacher, I started to well up reading this, don't know what's the matter with me, think I'm beginning to get this thing called "feelings" ( not sure I like it much!) thanks for sharing X," wrote Kevin Finch.
