Proud dad Prince William has revealed little Princess Charlotte has a penchant for sports.
"She's a very good footballer," Prince William told former Chelsea and Aston Villa defender Paul Elliott at a Football Association reception on Wednesday.
"You hold her hand and she kicks it. Very sweet."
The 11-month even has the kit already, having been sent a personalised shirt from the England Women's football team shortly after her birth in May 2015.
Prince William, who is keen sportsman and has been president of the Football Association for the last 10 years, has previously described his daughter as "a little joy of heaven", and Prince George as "a little monkey".
Life must be getting busy at the royal household, with two energetic toddlers in tow. "It is more responsibility, looking after two little ones, especially when George is around," Prince William said last year.
With both parents taking an interest in sports, Princess Charlotte and big brother George look set to be active kids.
Earlier this year, the Duchess of Cambridge sounded out Andy Murray's mum, Judy, on getting the children into tennis.
"From a parents' perspective she was very interested in how she could help her kids to develop the skills that you need to do sports because she enjoys sports so much," Murray told British newspaper The Telegraph.
"She was talking about at what age can a child hold a racquet."
