Father's Day is on Sunday and if you haven't already arranged something, fret not! Here are five great ideas to celebrate the day with your Dad.
1. Wild Wheels at MOTAT
If Dad's a petrolhead, chances are he'll love this special Father's Day treat at MOTAT. Featuring a wide range of classic cars on display, a beer tent and a live band, this event runs from 10am to 4pm on Sunday. There's also face painting and other children's activities to keep the younger members of the family entertained.

2. Take him to the movies

Be sure to book in advance - this event sold out in three days last year.

This layout of model trains will be running for one day only and it's the result of ten people each building their dream railway section and putting them all together. There's a range of New Zealand and international scenery and a variety of trains running all day.
