First drinks: The unique cocktail list appealed to all our senses and it was easy to declare the Passionfruit Lemon Meringue Pie the best cocktail we've ever had. It was like eating dessert but in a deliciously alcoholic form.
The vibe is: cosy. The scent of mulled wine filled the air and everyone was in good spirits, even those huddled outside with blankets as the rain began to drizzle.
On the stereo: a good selection of easy listening beats. The music was at the perfect level for conversation but you were still able to get up for a boogie.
The bathrooms were: spotless and freshly scented. Hanging lightbulbs and brick walls decorated with framed mirrors.
Room for improvement: There isn't a lot of street parking but this place truly is a hidden gem, only 10 minutes from the CBD.
The perfect spot for: a quiet chinwag and a nightcap.
Most redeeming feature: has to be the cosy, chill atmosphere. Plus the bartenders are cocktail wizards - but if you don't want to branch out there are Stoke beers on tap.
