Hollywood husband? Check. New product to promote? Check. Name-dropping a New Zealand designer? Check. Supermodel Miranda Kerr ticked all the boxes on a whistle-stop visit to Auckland.
The 29-year-old was in town for the day while her toddler Flynn and husband Orlando Bloom were at home in LA - but the family will be returning soon for work on Peter Jackson's The Hobbit franchise. Last year they set up shop in the Wellington suburb of Seatoun and it was a happy time for the trio, the model said.
She was here to launch haircare products but also revealed Trelise Cooper was one of her favourite designers and that New Zealand was one of her favourite places.
"I just feel a complete sense of relaxation when I get here," she said. "I had so many months [here] just at home with Flynn chilling out, cooking and going on walks on the hills in Seatoun and down by the ocean. I love it here."
She said she first came to New Zealand when aged about 18, travelling with a friend, camping and flyfishing.
