Peta has rebuked Beyonce for wearing an outfit made out of animal skin for her Super Bowl halftime show.
The animal rights group has issued a statement saying the pop superstar was wrong to wear the custom-made suit made of python and iguana for her 13-minute performance.
"We would take a bet that if Beyonce watched our video exposes here and here, she'd probably not want to be seen again in anything made of snakes, lizards, rabbits, or other animals who died painfully.
"Today's fashions are trending toward humane vegan options, and Beyoncé's Super Bowl outfit missed the mark on that score," it said.
Designer Rubin Singer said Beyonce's black body suit was made of "strips of engineered python, paneled iguana and trapunto/pick stitched leather."
Beyonce donned a fur coat at Barack Obama's presidential inauguration has previously been criticised for wearing fake eyelashes made of mink.
Peta also recently called for its members to stage protests at premieres for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey after allegations animals being used in the film had been mistreated.
