Nicole Kidman has regained movement in her face after turning to Botox to stave off aging.
The 45-year-old actress has been subject to scrutiny over the years for her wrinkle-free face.
Critics have accused her of using the face-freezing injections to maintain her looks.
Kidman has admitted to experimenting with Botox in the past but has always denied going under the knife.
In a new interview with Italian newspaper La Repubblica, Kidman opens up about her treatment.
She insists she wasn't happy with the side effects and her days of using Botox are long over.
"No surgery for me,'' she reiterates, adding, "I did try Botox, unfortunately, but I got out of it and now I can finally move my face again.''
The interview was first obtained by RadarOnline.
The website quotes Kidman as saying her decision to get the injections was an "unfortunate move''.
Kidman did not elaborate on how long it has been since she has received a treatment.
She credits her youthful looks today to her healthy lifestyle and insists she is "completely natural''.
"I wear sunscreen, I don't smoke and I take care of myself, and I am proud to say that,'' she added.
"Anybody can do anything to themselves - I don't judge - but personally I believe in being physically fit. That's how I was raised.''
Kidman is married to country music singer Keith Urban.
The couple share two daughters: Sunday, born in 2008, and Faith, born in 2010.
