Mitch Albom is a bestselling United States author whose latest book is The Time Keeper (Hachette).

The book I love the most is ... The Book of Psalms.

The book I'm reading right now is ... The Imperfectionists by Tom Rachman.

The book I'd like to read next is ... The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry by Rachel Joyce.

My favourite bookshop is ... the original Borders, a huge sprawling place in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where I had one of my first book signings more than 20 years ago. Sadly, like all Borders, it is now closed.

The book that changed me is ... to be honest, my own Tuesdays With Morrie, not only the writing of it but the reaction in the 15 years since. I hope it's not wrong to select a book you've written as opposed to read, but no piece of writing has turned my life more than that one.

The book I wish I'd never read is ... the first 150 pages of Fifty Shades of Grey. Whoa.
