Bonds underwear in New Zealand says it has made a moral decision not to sell bras aimed at girls as young as six.
The company is under fire in Australia for creating the "Bralettes", which have gone on sale at K-mart stores across the Tasman.
The garments start in a child's size six - and padded bras have also been developed for girls as young as eight.
Bonds New Zealand spokeswoman Nicola Brook says the company here has made the decision that selling bras for girls that young, is wrong.
