New Zealand's gold-medal bowlers will be back in action in an innovative triples tournament in Auckland next week.
Determined that the momentum should be maintained after recent Kiwi success on greens around the world, Auckland Bowls is hosting a gold medal celebrity triples at the Pakuranga Club next Saturday.
Most interest will centre on the teams of Ann Lomas, Sharon Sims and Patsy Jorgensen and the Peter Belliss-led triple, including Rowan Brassey and Andrew Curtain.
They will be opposed by teams including other members of the World Bowls teams as well top local players.
The association will kick-start the awareness campaign with a Challenge of Change seminar at Eden Park on Tuesday.
