*GALE WARNING IN FORCE* Northeast 15 knots but 25 knots north of Cape Reainga, rising to 25 knots but 35 knots in the north this morning, and to 35 knots everywhere this afternoon. Changing northwest 30 knots this evening. Sea becoming very rough for a time. Southwest swell 3 metres easing. Northerly swell west of Cape Reinga, 2 metres developing. Poor visibility in rain developing this morning, with possible squally thunderstorms from this evening.
Outlook:
Outlook following 3 days: Changing Sunday morning southwest 20 knots and rising Tuesday morning 40 knots with very rough sea. Southwest swell becoming heavy Monday.
