Kim Dotcom put on an impromptu pool party to celebrate the All Blacks victory and invited strangers plucked from Auckland bars to join in.
The Internet Party founder tweeted "If the #AllBlacks win tonight I'm going to walk into a random bar in Auckland & pickup 20 ppl for a 38 degree pool party at the mansion :-)".
Even before victory over the English was secured, Dotcom promised the "Party is on".
Sure enough, just before midnight, Dotcom turned up at 1885 in Auckland's Britomart precinct in a 4WD Mercedes with black tinted windows to whisk three women back to his Coatesville mansion.
The newly single Dotcom posed for selfies and earned cheers from the revellers.
Earlier, Dotcom asked for suggestions about which bar would be the best to find his instant party invitees.
A Len Brown parody Twitter account suggested Dotcom head for a venue on Auckland's famous red light strip at Karangahape Rd and cheekily asked if he could bring Mona.
Another 20 people were invited to contact Dotcom directly for a secret mansion security password.
One of the lucky few was apparently Ben Smith, not the All Black wing but an IT worker, who Tweeted: "Off to @KimDotcom mansion to party to celebrate the All Blacks win later on tonight! How exciting! #swimatkims," he Tweeted.
