The Hawke's Bay Rowing Club scullers were at the top of the field at the Te Awamutu rowing regatta held at Lake Karapiro last weekend.
The premier single scull was won by Simon Lack, who later teamed up with his younger brother Hamish to win the premier double scull.
Adam Tripp won the senior single scull and then teamed up with Michael Harrison to win the senior double scull by one length from West End and Auckland rowing club.
In the under-17 quadruple scull Daniel Weeks, Adam McElroy, Maia Solomon, Brendan Lack with cox Nic Mogford finished a close second to Hauraki Plains rowing club after a race-long battle.
Richard Harrison, Todd Hale, Jason Kitchen and Ben Bullock with cox Nic Mogford were convincing winners of the club coxed four. They then teamed up with Jacob Laird, Maia Solomon, Adam McElroy and Brendan Lack to win the Club 8 by one length from Tauranga rowing club.
On Sunday, the Waikato Rowing Association held their annual 10km race. Sarah Alexander was the first woman single sculler home, and Brendan Lack was second in the men's single scull. Michael Harrison, Adam Tripp, Maia Solomon and Blair Harrison were first home in the men's quadruple scull.
Hawke's Bay's next regatta is in Gisborne on November 11.
