Summer Cycling Carnival: Bay Espresso Family Fun Ride
This 1.1km Criterium circuit down Marine Parade is perfect for families and friends to enjoy together. Dress up your bike or come in your lycra and have some cycling fun.

Summer Cycling Carnival: Black Barn Vineyards Criterium
Napier's Marine Parade will become the venue for a high speed and exciting race for spectators to witness. The elite riders will tackle the 1.1km criterium circuit with sprint laps every 10 minutes.
Date: Wednesday, January 4, at 5.30pm

Summer Cycling Carnival: iWay Fun Ride
A 40km ride along the pathways from Hastings to Te Awanga will provide pleasant and peaceful scenes for recreational riders. People will be rewarded at the half-way point with some lunch and a glass of wine from Te Awanga Estate. Former Australian professional cyclist Robbie McEwen will also be there pushing you along.

Summer Cycling Carnival: Traffic Design Group Flying Lap
For those wanting a taste of being a professional cyclist come and ride one lap of the elite time trial course. This 20km time trial is a great test for those keen and fit or a comfortable ride for the recreational cyclist.
Date: Friday, January 6, at 9am
Where: Church Road Winery, Napier
Tickets: Register online maximum of 30 riders and tickets are $10.
Summer Cycling Carnival: Tineli Gran Fondo Ride
If you are looking for a hill challenge then head on to the Tineli Gran Fondo Ride for a taste of the hill circuit the elite cyclists will face as they count down their final laps of the course. The ride, organised by Ramblers Cycling Club, will involve a mass start and the number of laps you ride will be determined by your grade.

Summer Cycling Carnival: Party On the Hill
Come and support the riders of the Elite Road National Championships from a party hub at the Napier Botanical Gardens. There will be entertainment, refreshments and great views for spectators to get right amongst the action. Get dressed up and share your photos using #partyonthehill.

Summer Cycling Carnival: Avanti Dress Your Bike Competition
Children are invited to dress their bike up in their favourite theme and bring them to the Tom Parker Fountain in Napier to compete for the best dressed bike. The bolder and louder the better. Children under 12 can enter and have the chance of winning one of two kids Avanti bikes.

Summer Cycling Carnival: Legends of Cycling dinner
For the first time the VIP dinner is coming to Napier and some of New Zealand's biggest cycling names will be sharing their stories and experiences. The heroes will take to the stage and impressive audio-visual effects will set the scene for an amazing night celebrating true legends of cycling. Legends include Robbie McEwen, Julian Dean and MC is John McKenzie, Editor of NZ Road Cyclist magazine.
