On Saturday, in conjunction with the NZ Stroke Foundation and St John Ambulance, the Rotary Club of Taradale was involved in co-ordinating a blood pressure check at Napier Pak'n Save.

Two hundred people had their blood pressure checked as part of a nationwide health promotion and seven were referred to their doctors for further tests.

Taradale Rotary Club members helping out are Richard Howell, Keith Lines, Richard Hay and Doug Syme.
