A fire at the Pan Pac plant in Whirinaki, north of Napier, has been put out.
National fire communications shift manager David Meikle said the fire which was in the ceiling of the forestry plant was doused just before 3pm.
A second alarm was raised about 2.30 this afternoon .
Six appliances from the Hastings, Napier and Bay View fire stations were at the scene.

The crews spent just over an hour bringing the blaze under control.
Mr Meikle said the cause was unknown at this stage.
