The weather in Hawke's Bay is expected to remain "generally fine" during the next few days with rain not expected to set in until Friday.
Metservice duty meteorologist Ian Gall said those in the Bay could expect a "pretty good week all round" with today expected to be fine with a slight sea breeze in Napier.
"Looking a bit further down the line, Wednesday there's a front coming over but you're not going to see a whole lot of rain," he said.
However, it would change Friday, with a southerly change expected to bring some showers.
"So generally pretty good weather, fine [today] and Tuesday, maybe some light rain coming out of some high cloud."
Highs of 16C could be expected throughout the week.
