Bay strikes Lotto again

Lotto's Big Wednesday has been scooped for the second successive week with a Hastings ticket netting $3.5 million.

New Zealand Lotteries Chief Executive Wayne Pickup said the winner bought their ticket from Hastings Pak'nSave.

Last week a Dannevirke couple won $14.1 million and a Big Wednesday player from Hastings also won a $15 million Big Wednesday prize in January.

This week's winner gets $2,087,700 in cash, plus a Lamborghini Gallardo, an Audi Q7, a boat, $50,000 on a Visa Platinum card, $50,000 worth of travel and $675,000 towards a bach.

Mr Pickup's advice for this week's Big Wednesday winner is to write their name and address on their ticket as soon as possible, confirming ownership, and to contact NZ Lotteries in order to determine their next steps.
