Fashion finds a fitting home

The inaugural 4ewe Art & Fashion Festival gala evening was a hit at the wonderfully redeveloped CHB Municipal Theatre in Waipawa on Saturday night.

Guests enjoyed drinks on arrival with canapes served at the Electra Gallery Art Exhibition.

The evening showcased Central Hawke's Bay artists, retailers and designers, as well as featuring a "wow factor" wearable arts extravaganza.

On display were works from the Fibre and Fleece Awards (Opotiki) winners along with fashion and felt knitwear from Napier's Laurel Judd.

The entertainment at the multi-media evening was also impressive with Elsthorpe-based Sarah Brown singing songs from her new album, The Great Heart Robbery which was recorded in Sydney.

Models Rentyn Cooper, Jonty Lelieve and Thomas Fogarty won more than a few fans when they appeared in their Jockey boxer briefs.

The art and fashion evening was part of the CHB Lamb Country weekend.
