Hawke's Bay skaters impress judges

By Court Reporter

The Central Districts League Rollerskating Competition, held in Hawke's Bay recently and for the first time in over 15 years, was a great success.
The competition ran for two days at the Hastings Sports Centre, bringing young skaters from around the lower North Island together.
"It was a fun weekend of skating, and Hastings skaters went really well," Hastings Club chairperson and coach Eileen Mills said.
"In every event a Hastings skater placed, which was great."
About 60 skaters, 20 of whom were from the Hastings club, turned out to compete in 30 events.
