There promises to be something for everyone at the upcoming model railway exhibition.
Railways fans and children will be in their element when hobbyists transport their model layout tracks to take part in Hamilton Model Railroaders' Club's annual exhibition on October 12-13 at Hamilton Gardens Pavilion.
Trains will run through realistic countryside, past stations and over bridges lovingly created by a band of enthusiasts. There will even be a model take on a London underground layout. Indications are there will be about 20 different layouts, including a Thomas the Tank Engine layout which kids can have a turn at driving.
Tickets are $6 per adult, $3 per child or $15 for a family pass for four.
