"Oh no! Not Patricia Flipp!" the children would moan in unison, making a joke of her name. When they were younger, I did sometimes give in to Iron Maiden. Metallica. Rihanna. Now they're all individually plugged into their music on their phones, or busy texting away.
If I'm not settling for a moment of peace and quiet, I listen to one of my business CDs. Patricia Fripp I review often, as she's a fabulous speaking coach, one I've downloaded onto my iPhone and play via Bluetooth in the car.
