US comedian Jon Stewart says he expects to return to stand-up once he leaves The Daily Show.
Comedy Central has released a video of Stewart answering some audience questions, where he says a return to the stage is on the cards.
"That's how I started. And that's, I'm sure, how I will end," Stewart said.
"Eighty years old, standing on stage."
Stewart is set to leave the satrical news program on August 6, when South African comic Trevor Noah takes over.
In preparation for his departure, Stewart will be selling 19 of his made-to-measure Armani suits he wore on the show to raise money for charity Achilles International.
Stewart has also purchased a New Jersey farm to care for rescued animals.
