The Twittershphere has reacted in shock to the US$100 million dollar ($132 million) TV deal the Kardashians have reportedly just signed.
E! has signed Kim Kardashian and her family on for four more seasons of their reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians, according to Page Six.
According to the US publication, Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner negotiated the deal.
The deal is said to be the biggest in TV history for a reality program, with adjectives like "huge" and "massive" being circulated around on Twitter to describe the Kardashians new pay packet.
As the world digests the news, some have been quick to respond on Twitter and most are disgusted that reality TV stars could earn so much money.
"This just makes me sick... think of the actual good that could be done with $100 mil, disgusting. Never watched it, never will," Katy Purdy tweeted.
Wayne Allyn Root said: "Society thinks this worth $100 million. Biggest deal in reality TV history. World is upside down & ruled y insanity."
Australian comedian Wil Anderson tweeted: "Kardashians ink $100m deal. Great news*
"*I assume Kardashia is a small African nation and the money is to fight Ebola..." he wrote.
E! has since responded to the reports saying the the US$100 figure is "grossly inaccurate".
The last time the Kardashian family resigned their contracts with E!, it was a three-season deal worth a reported US$40 million in 2012.
