New Zealand actress Anna Paquin has been rubbing shoulders with some of America's elite at an exclusive banquet in Washington DC at the weekend.
Paquin has recently announced that she's expecting her first child and the political event was the perfect opportunity to show off her tiny baby bump.
The 29-year-old actress and her husband, Stephen Moyer, were guests at the White House Correspondents' Dinner at Washington Hilton on Saturday night (local time).
The event was hosted by Jimmy Kimmel and was also attended by President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle.
Paquin and Moyer were seated at the Huffington Post table alongside Dakota Fanning and Daniel Day-Lewis.
The actress chose a low-cut black dress with a strappy back for the occasion, which matched her husband's dark bow-tie. About two weeks ago, the Oscar-winning star of The Piano announced she was due to give birth this spring.
The baby will be Paquin's first, while Moyer has two children from previous relationships. The couple, who play lovers in the vampire drama True Blood, married in Malibu, California, in 2010.
