Kiradech Aphibarnrat is one of the most interesting characters in professional golf.
Dubbed "Asia's John Daly", Aphibarnrat has six professional wins from his nine years and has accumulated US$5.64 million dollars in career earnings over that time.
But it's what he does with that money that makes Aphibarnrat so intriguing.
Following an opening round 66 at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship on the Euro Tour the Golf Channel's Tim Rosaforte conducted an insightful interview with the 28-year-old.
Aphibarnrat opened up about his spending habits, and it's fair to say the man has expensive tastes.
He bought his first Ferarri last year, and it's white.
When asked why he didn't go for a more traditional red, he said "since there's not many white Ferraris in Thailand, if I go anywhere everyone will know it's the only one in Thailand, so that's the key for why I had to buy white".
He also has an admitted addiction to shoes and watches.
"I was big fan of Yeezy," said the world No. 86.
"I think I have more than 15, and overall, with [Adidas] NMD stuff, more than 40 pairs.
"Watches? I think all that I can make, the earnings from last year can't buy all my watches.
"So I have a lot of work to do, that's why I play a lot around the world, and as you guys see, I spend a lot on all of that stuff."
He hopes to win some more European Tour events and increase his world ranking, but his main goal is to carve out a place in the US on the PGA Tour.
