The HD remake of Resident Evil will release on January 20, Capcom has announced.
It will be digitally released on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC for US$20.
The remake is an enhanced version of the 2002 GameCube edition of the game.
It will run at 1080p on new-gen consoles and PC, and 720p on last-gen.
You can toggle between the original "tank" controls and a new control scheme that lets characters move in the direction you press on the analogue stick.
Frame rate options will be available in the PC version, and all versions will get fully remastered 5.1 surround sound, a new 'Very Easy' mode, and the option to switch between 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios at any time.
The remake isn't the only Resident Evil game Capcom has planned for next year. The first episode of Resident Evil Revelations 2 is scheduled for a February release.
