Forget the Super Bowl, English football club Derby County have set the standard for sporting halftime shows with the most bizarre performance you will ever see.
Derby extended their winless run under manager Nigel Pearson extended to six games as visitors Blackburn Rovers earned just their second win of the season.
The result at the County Ground ended up being the sideshow to the performance put on by a mascot and a mysterious man appearing to play a coach.
Football fans will be familiar with the usual fare at halftime, including cheerleaders, cross-bar challenges and raffle competitions.
However in a surreal break from the norm, a gigantic fish swallowed a member of staff.
The man appears to take issue with the fish's presence on the pitch by directing a shot at the mascot's large body. The fish then swallows the man whole before regurgitating his prey, minus his clothes.
It turns out the weird character hails from America and is known as 'Mackeral Jordan'.
The fish has even made an appearance on ESPN after his feeding performances shot him to internet stardom in the United States.
Derby's home defeat to Blackburn leaves them in languishing in the bottom three of the Championship after starting the season as one of the favourites for promotion to the Premier League.
Blackburn's second win of the season moves Owen Coyle's side out of the relegation zone.
