After what chocolate fans believe to be a far too lengthy wait, chocolate company Whittaker's has released it's first Easter egg, a chocolate Kiwi.
With unwelcome changes to Cadbury's Creme egg this month, it seems a perfect time for Whittaker's to reveal its new Easter edition.

Announced on the company's Facebook page, it's a first attempt at hollow chocolate for the creators of the Peanut Slab, K Bar and numerous collaborations such as Lewis Road Creamery's chocolate milk.
Twenty cents from each purchase will also go to Kiwis for kiwi, a charity working to fund community-based conservation products.
Facebook followers expressed their delight at the announcement of the long-awaited new product, with one user commenting that they hoped the Kiwi chocolate would out-sell the imported hollow Lindt bunny.
