It started with avocado on toast, then she called grilled lettuce a Caesar salad. But according to social media, this time Nigella Lawson has taken things too far.
On her TV show, Simply Nigella, the cook revealed her "liquorice tool box" where she stores her sweet treats, from chocolate-flavoured bars to salty liquid versions.
Twitter was soon awash with viewers asking what Lawson was doing brandishing a "fishing tackle box" on her show.
As she discussed the ingredients for her chocolate, liquorice and blackcurrant cake, she announced she had "restocked my liquorice box".
One Twitter user joked: "Off to the kitchen to get my liquorice box, don't tell me you haven't got one?", while another shared a similar comment.
Another declared watching Lawson's liquorice "rummaging" was the best thing he'd ever seen on TV.
And another thanked Lawson for reminding him to "update my liquorice box. Phew."
Rifling through her collection, she points out chocolate-liquorice almonds as being "entry level" while a liquorice chocolate bar is deemed better for the "mature student".
As much as viewers bagged her lolly kit, there were still a few loyal fans singing her praises.
One tweeted: "I just want to be Nigella. I want her face, her garden, her staircase, her studded mixing bowl and her bloody liquorice box (I hate liquorice)."
Another wrote "I need a liquorice box" while one woman asked for a "case of liquorice for Christmas".
