Flamingo Pier Party
A tropical themed, summer street food, booze and disco pop-up. It's a big promise from Luke Walker and his partner at Flamingo Pier. The Kiwi chaps have had massive success launching their summer festivities in East London on a canal boat, boasting a sell-out summer run. Now they're bringing the concept home. On Valentine's Day 2015 we will get the chance at our very first Flamingo Pier experience at Rangihoua Estate Olive Grove on Waiheke Island. Punters will be dancing bare foot amongst the nikau palms and neon set up. There will be art and light features set amongst the native bush, a rum shack, cocktails by Bedford Soda and Liquor, a pop-up chicken shop by Bird on a Wire and sounds by a reel of DJs. There are a limited number of early bird tickets on sale now until Christmas Eve. It's $99 for a double pass or fork out $159 and you'll get the Pier to Pier return ferry thrown in.
