Short for "conditioner-only washing" these hybrid hair cleansers are particularly good for coarse and curly hair. The non-lathering formulas are gentle and don't strip oil or colour out, nor do they raise the hair cuticle, so the hair strands are left smooth. But, the long and short of it is that people with fine hair may find this method leaves their locks too flat and oily.
Do: use more than you would with a traditional shampoo and really massage it into the scalp, then use a little more for the ends.
Don't: use conditioner as well. Or grease will be the word.
