Aussie supermodel Miranda Kerr says showing off her famous figure has become second nature.

The 29-year-old Victoria's Secret Angel appears topless on the December cover of Esquire magazine.

And she admits she rarely hesitates to strip down for the lingerie giant's photoshoots.

"We always have so much fun when we shoot and my temperament's flirtatious, so it's second nature to me," Kerr says.

The girl from Gunnedah in NSW is married to Hollywood actor Orlando Bloom. But says it's empowering to indulge strangers' fantasies with racy campaigns and fashion editorials.

"I don't really think of rules, as long as it's classy and timeless and it's something I wouldn't be ashamed of," she says.

"I believe in celebrating the female figure and embracing what we've been given, not hiding that."

Kerr has also revealed she's not a typical girly-girl. She still enjoys many of the outdoor activities she grew up doing in the Australian country town.

"I really feel that my body craves to be in the mountains or by the ocean or in the countryside," she said.

"I still like to climb the odd tree I find it very rewarding."
