Jonah Lomu is set to make his movie debut opposite Russell Crowe, according to a report in this morning's Sunday News.
The newspaper says Jonah has already read the script for the big-budget British film and is very keen to take part.
Filming is expected to begin in Sydney around July, the report says.
Jonah's manager Phil Kingsley-Jones refused to comment to the Sunday News.
The report does not contain confirmation from Jonah himself, but mentions that in the past several movie offers have come the way of the big Wellington wing.
The newspaper quotes a friend of Jonah's as saying Jonah thought "hard about accepting a part in a James Bond movie a couple of years ago before turning it down. But the time is right now."
