A West Auckland rock and metal festival has added a dose of pop to its bill.
Storm the Gates, being held at Trusts Stadium on March 17, already boasts a line-up featuring Limp Bizkit and Suicidal Tendancies.
Today, organisers have announced that reggae pop group Sublime With Rome and ne-metal act Hed (PE) have joined the bill.
Other acts on the bill include City Of Souls, Skinny Hobos and Written By Wolves.
Sublime are firm Kiwi summer favourites thanks to 90s hits like What I Got and Wrong Way but the band never got the chance to tour here after the death of front man Bradley Nowell of a drug overdose in 1996.
Members of the group united with a new singer, Rome Ramirez, in 2010, recorded new music and played their first show here last year.
Hed (PE) mix gangsta rap, punk and reggae in a style of nu-metal known as 'G-punk'.
It's Limp Bizkit's first performance here since the 2001 Big Day Out.
Tickets for the show are available now.
