Antony Starr is getting ready to pull his undies over his pants and pin on a cape.
The Kiwi actor has scored a lead role in a major upcoming superhero show, it has been reported.
Starr, from Outrageous Fortune and Banshee, is set to star in a TV adaptation of Garth Ennis' comic book hit The Boys.
Deadline reported Starr would play Homelander, a super hero with the image of Captain America but behind the scenes is described as "an amoral jerk and sexual predator".
Other actors signed up include Usher, Dominique McElligott, Chace Crawford, Jessie T Usher and Nathan Mitchell and Erin Moriarty.
Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen are set to direct. It's their second comic book adaptation project after Preacher.
Starr was last seen in American Gothic, which was cancelled by CBS after one season.
