Kiwis rushed to the cinema this week to find out if androids continue to dream of electric sheep in the much anticipated sequel, Blade Runner 2049.
This Ryan Gosling led, Harrison Ford returning, sci-fi epic comfortably hunted down the top spot after tracking down a bunch of 5 star reviews and critical buzz.
With the school holidays in full effect kids flocked to the cinema. Showing a distinct lack of judgement and/or taste the kids favoured the woeful Emoji movie over the wonderful Captain Underpants.
The action-spy flick Kingsman was shaken - but not stirred - by the infiltrating children, but managed to stay in the Top 5 for another week, fending off the latest LEGO adventure, Ninjago, to do so.
