A teen musician hailed as the future of pop is coming to New Zealand with just a handful of singles to her name.
At the age of 15, Los Angeles teen Billie Eilish has received overwhelming hype ahead of the release of her first EP next month.
Nylon Magazine hailed her as "the future", Vogue called her "Pop's next 'It' Girl," and i-D called her "one of pop's most promising talents".
Does she deserve the hype? We can soon make up our minds for ourselves - she's coming to New Zealand.
Eilish will perform at The Tuning Fork in Auckland on September 11 ahead of her debut EP, don't smile at me.
She's only released a handful of singles so far, including Bellyache, Ocean's Eyes and Copycat, as well as Bored, which featured on the Netflix show 13 Reasons Why.
Each song has already chalked up millions of plays on YouTube and streaming services.
Tickets for her "intimate" show go on sale on July 26.
