A Hollywood star has slammed the Kiwi ex-convict who says his facial tattoo has prevented him from finding work.
Mark Cropp made headlines last week when he said his "DEVAST8" facial tattoo, which he received in prison, was holding him back from working.
US actor Michael Rapaport slammed Cropp's dilemma in a video posted to his Twitter account, in which he calls the 19-year-old a "dumb f***".
"You got 'devast8' tattooed across your face? You got your brother to do it and now you're complaining because you can't get a f***ing job?
"The only thing you devastated was your life, you dumb, dizzy f***, you," Rapaport tells his 202,000 followers.
He continues: "You need to beat your brother's arse with reckless abandon, then go get a job in a tattoo removal parlour, because that's the only f***ing thing you can do to give back to society, because you look f***ing bananas."
Rapaport has starred in popular TV series such as My Name is Earl, Friends and Prison Break and in movies True Romance and Hitch.
Cropp's story made international headlines after he publicly pleaded for a job on social media. The 19-year-old father says he has received a "few" job offers, and has begun a free laser removal of the tattoo.
Australian radio host Kyle Sandilands offered Cropp a job as a personal driver.
