A party of one is no party at all. That's the realisation I came to when I first pressed play on That's You! And it wasn't a good time.
That's You! is a party on your PlayStation. It's designed to be played with a bunch of friends. You log in with your smartphone or tablets, then take turns collectively answering a bunch of humorous questions, or carrying out silly tasks.
You may have to take a warped selfie. You could get asked to decorate a haunted house using the app's drawing tools. You may be told to respond to a potentially embarrassing personal question like, "Who would order take-out and pretend they cooked it?" or, "Who is more likely to be sick in the street?"
The free download via PS Plus is kind of like a very gentle version of Cards Against Humanity mixed with Cranium. Played in a group, you're promised a pretty neat time. Three is great, four seems ideal, six is the max. As long as you hide your screens from each other, it's guaranteed fun.
And with more than 1000 questions on offer, you've got several nights of solid entertainment available before things start repeating themselves.
But the first time I tried out That's You!, I was on my own. I didn't last long. You need a minimum of two to play.
Trying to have a party on your own and being told you can't? That's just embarrassing.
