Some graffiti has popped up in an unlikely place and it seems, "Ricky Baker has a lot of explaining to do".
The new trailer for Taika Waititi's Thor: Ragnarok is released today and eagle-eyed Waititi fans spotted a small tribute to the Kiwi director's last hit film, Hunt for the Wilderpeople.
During a scene right at the beginning where Thor is seen throwing his hammer Mjolnir, there's a graffiti tag saying: "Skux Life".
It's a popular phrase used tirelessly by Hunt for the Wilderpeople's beloved character Ricky Baker and it's a truly blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment, but one fan - Vanity Fair writer Joanna Robinson - caught it:
That "Skux Life" Easter Egg graffiti in the THOR trailer tho. pic.twitter.com/lfyqBfWw4m— Joanna Robinson (@jowrotethis) April 10, 2017
Waititi responded to Robinson's tweet with a hilairous explanation:
Robinson is one of many reaching out to Waititi on social media today with many industry names congratulating him on the awesome trailer - including fellow directors like Kiwi Toa Fraser and Oscar nominated Ava DuVernay who was recently in New Zealand shooting A Wrinkle in Time in the South Island.

Hey, @TaikaWaititi do you think you could find it in your schedule to direct all movies for the next eternity or so?— Clarisse Loughrey (@clarisselou) April 10, 2017
Thor: Ragnarok is due for release in October this year.
