Kiwi artist Kimbra is set to perform at this year's Rhythm and Vines New Year's music festival.

This summer's Rhythm and Vines just got a whole lot bigger and better.

Today it has been revealed that Kiwi artist Kimbra has been added to the list to headline the New Year's music festival.

The Cameo Lover hitmaker will be joining Chance the Rapper, RÜFÜS, and ZHU - who is set to bring the party into 2017.

Kimbra has been making waves across the world. In 2013 she won a Grammy for her collaboration with Australian artist Gotye on Someone That I Used To Know. Her 2014 record The Golden Echo, peaked at No. 5 on the New Zealand music charts and most recently the singer-songwriter released her new single Sweet Relief and is sure to have a few new songs up her sleeve for Rhythm and Vines.

Other new acts added to the line-up include UK duo Maribou State, Drum and Bass DJ Culture Shock, Cut Snake and Australian acts Oscar Key Sung and Ocean Alley. Breakout Kiwi acts Maala and Kings will also be taking the stage over the three-day festival.
