If you're yet to see The Girl on the Train, don't worry, we're not about to spoil it for you.
Oh ok, here's a slight spoiler: It's more bad-good than good-good, with a campy B-movie vibe, a scenery-chewing central performance from Emily Blunt and a SHOCK TWIST you'll probably clock within the first half-hour of the film.
However, there's something far more interesting about the film that early viewers just can't get their head around.
It has to do with a certain member of the cast.
Blunt's joined by a solid line-up, including Justin Theroux, Luke Evans, Allison Janney and Jennifer Lawrence...
THAT'S NOT JENNIFER LAWRENCE. Actress and singer Haley Bennett, 28, plays Megan in the film, and her striking resemblance to the more well-known Lawrence has proven to be the most shocking plot twist for some viewers:
legitimately shaken by the discovery that it wasn't jennifer lawrence in the girl on the train— hell priest (@hastapura) October 5, 2016
Yikes, I totally thought Jennifer Lawrence had this supporting role in The Girl on the Train. She has a look-alike.— Jeremy (@takeshikitano3) September 23, 2016
wait, jennifer lawrence isn't the girl from girl on the train?— jUles (@gravitybea) September 21, 2016
Am I the only one that thinks Megan in Girl on the Train looks JUST like Jennifer Lawrence? Holy doppelgänger Batman.— Sarah (@Sarahelayna) August 5, 2016
Haley Bennett looks like Jennifer Lawrence.— Courtney (@ManlikeGooch) October 5, 2016
Embargoed from tweeting about #TheGirlOnTheTrain for now. But Haley Bennett is definitely Skeet Ulrich to Jennifer Lawrence's Johnny Depp— Chris Lee (@__ChrisLee) September 29, 2016
Maybe there should be a DNA test - these two are clearly long-lost sisters.
