Images of Emma Watson in Beauty And The Beast leaked online

By Iona Kirby

The Beauty And The Beast live-action reboot is much-anticipated - and shrouded in secrecy.

Fans have so far only been treated to a small glimpse of Emma Watson's eyes as she reaches for The Enchanted Rose while in character as Belle.

But it seems that a proper look at the 26-year-old in the role may now have been revealed, according to the Daily Mail.

On Friday, two images were leaked online which appear to be stills from the upcoming Disney movie, although this has not been confirmed.

One of the photos proves that Emma is the perfect casting choice for Belle, as it shows her in a bookshop, wearing Belle's white shirt and apron with a blue dress.

Emma is shown carrying dusty old books and leaning on the library ladder, with a blue headband in place of the character's hair tie.

A second image sees the Harry Potter alum wearing Belle's sparkling yellow dress while dancing with the Beast.

It's unclear if the image was merely a mock-up of the iconic Tale As Old As Time moment, or a real still.

So far, Disney has only offered a small glimpse of what's to come. An official teaser trailer released earlier this year showed the Beast's castle and Ewan McGregor's Lumiere saying: 'What if she is the one?'

Emma could be heard saying 'hello?' as the door creaked open, before she was seen reaching for The Enchanted rose.

But there's no doubt that she and Dan Evans are the perfect pair to play Beauty and her Beast.

Another sneak peek which came out last month showed the duo reciting their lines during a table read.

Beauty And The Beast is scheduled for release on March 17, 2017 and is the latest of Disney's live-action offerings.

It comes following the huge success of Maleficent, Cinderella and The Jungle Book.
