The winners of The Block NZ 2014 have welcomed their baby boy into the world.

Alex and Corban Walls shared a photo of their son, Austen James, on Instagram on Friday.

"Warning: Baby Announcement!" they wrote. "We have been a little quiet on our Instagram of late, but for good reason. Our baby boy Austen James Walls came into our world last Monday! He is so precious and we are so in love... And soooooo tired!"

But the pair are used to powering through tiredness. They worked on little sleep and tight time restrictions to win season three of The Block and took out the top prize.

They sold their Point Chevalier home for $1,552,000, giving them $307,000 in profit and prize money.

They were also the couple which won over fans when they gifted $30,000 of their winnings to fellow contestants Ben and Quinn Alexandre, who made just $10,000 profit on their home.

Since then, they've opened their own homeware shop, and of course, gone on to expand their family.

Sharing the news of their son's arrival on social media is nothing new for the Block stars, who announced and documented the pregnancy with a series of adorable photos and videos.
