Rebel Wilson has been forced to disable her Instagram comments and call in police to investigate after receiving a series of death threats.
The Pitch Perfect star revealed in a now-deleted post that the FBI are looking into the situation.
"Just letting you guys know that my comments are temporarily suspended because of death threats I recently received. The FBI is currently investigating," she wrote in a caption, alongside a picture of the Hollywood sign.
Rebel later deleted this post.
No further detail was given as to the nature of the threats or what prompted them.
It's not the Sydney-born star's first terrifying encounter - last year, she told TV host Ellen DeGeneres that she received a number of threats after an embrace with One Direction singer Harry Styles last year.
"Basically I got accused of sexually assaulting Harry Styles," the 36-year-old said.
"These little girls, I think they're about 12 ... They were very, very unhappy about that.
Basically, we're just like two professional entertainers having a good time, and he really enjoyed it. And, I told them that on Twitter, and then they just sent me more death threats."
